Agilent Announces SystemVue for System Architects

Agilent Technologies has announced SystemVue, a software suite aimed at system architects working on smartphone and radar technologies in defense applications. The key benefit? Agilent claims it can help them verify system performance up to 64 times faster.

SystemVue 2013.08, along with the W1712, is designed for validating user algorithms written in Matlab, C++, and SystemVue dataflow formats. Prices start at $17,687.

Key Features of SystemVue

  • W1711 SystemVue Engine: A standalone engine that supports Linux, distributed computing, and scripting through SystemVue’s API.
  • W1902 Digital Modem Library: Offers references for 40 popular modulation formats.
  • W1719 RF System Simulation: Provides support for wideband applications, handling distortion, noise, and hundreds of carriers.
  • Direct Hardware Support: Supports digital upconversion in the wideband, modular Agilent M8190A arbitrary waveform generator. Also supports Agilent’s M9391A PXI vector signal analyzer and M9381A PXI vector signal generator through Command Expert 1.2.
  • Reference Library Improvements: Enhanced to support phased-array radars, Beidou2 satellite navigation, Bluetooth smartphone networking, digital predistortion, and frequency-dependent VCSEL models for gigabit SerDes links.
