July 24, 2013 - The ZigBee® Alliance announced the release of Zigbee Home Automation Standard version 1.2, making it readily available for Zigbee-based product development. This latest version introduces a host of new features, particularly focused on enhancements for door-locks, smart appliances, and electrical measurement devices.
