LoRaWAN Frequency Bands and Channels in Europe (EU)
This page describes the LoRaWAN frequency bands and channels used in Europe (EU region). It also mentions data rates and transmit power (EIRP). LoRaWAN frequency bands, channels, EIRP, and data rate requirements vary depending on the region.
What LoRaWAN Frequency Bands are Used in Europe?
The table below outlines the LoRaWAN parameters used in Europe, utilizing two radio frequency bands: EU863-870 and EU433.
Specifically, the first three frequency channels in the EU868 MHz band are 868.1 MHz, 868.3 MHz, and 868.5 MHz. The EU433 band uses frequency channels 433.175 MHz, 433.375 MHz, and 433.575 MHz.
LoRaWAN Data Rates in Europe
The following table shows the bit rates or data rates for EU LoRaWAN end devices.
LoRaWAN Transmit (Tx) Power and EIRP in Europe
The table below outlines the transmit power and EIRP for the LoRaWAN EU region.
The maximum EIRP is generally considered to be +16dBm (by default).
