This document outlines the different profiles used in LoRaWAN networks, specifically the device profile, service profile, and routing profile.
LoRaWAN Device Profile
The device profile describes the capabilities of a LoRaWAN end device. It also contains boot parameters that the Network Server requires to set up the radio access service for that device.

In the table above, “M” indicates that the parameter is “Mandatory” to include, and “O” indicates that the parameter is “Optional.”
LoRaWAN Service Profile
The service profile contains service parameters that the Network Server needs to:
- Set up the LoRaWAN radio access service.
- Interact with the Application Server.
