Microchip Launches New RF Power Amplifier for WLAN Applications

Microchip power amplifiers are gaining popularity, and Microchip has recently launched new high-power amplifier options. These amplifiers are known for their low EVM (Error Vector Magnitude) and are commonly used in WLAN 802.11n applications.
On October 14, 2013, Microchip Technology Inc. released the 2.4 GHz RF high power amplifier (SST12CP12), which supports 256 QAM ultra-high data rate modulation, a requirement for modern WLAN systems.
