Key Features of the BB60C Spectrum Analyzer
The BB60C offers a range of impressive features at an accessible price point:
- Frequency Range: 9 KHz to 6 GHz
- Sweep Speed: 24 GHz/Sec (when RBW is >= 10 KHz)
- Dynamic Power Range: -158 to +10 dBm
- Instantaneous Bandwidth (IBW): 27 MHz
- Operating Temperature: -40°C to +65°C
- Cost: US $2879
RF Recording Capabilities
The BB60C excels as an RF recorder, featuring variable IQ sampling rates. It can record data rates from 312.5 K up to 40 M IQ samples using configurable BPFs. The API interface provides a Graphical User Interface (GUI) for easy control and visualization.
The analyzer performs computations at a rate of 1.2 million FFTs per second. It also supports a 1PPS input, delivering timing accuracy of 50 ns.
Other Low-Cost Spectrum Analyzers from Signal Hound
Signal Hound also offers other low-cost spectrum analyzer models: USB-SA124B and USB-SA44B, priced at 919 respectively. These versions are well-suited for hobbyists.
- USB-SA124B: Offers a frequency range of 100 KHz to 12.4 GHz.
- USB-SA44B: Offers a frequency range of 1 Hz to 4.4 GHz.
Both the USB-SA124B and USB-SA44B provide a dynamic range from -151 dBm to +10 dBm and a Resolution Bandwidth (RBW) of 0.1 Hz to 250 KHz.
