Texas Instruments (TI) launched the Tiva-C Series Development Kit (TM4C123G USB+CAN) on August 30, 2013, designed for microcontroller development and compatible with the ARM Cortex®-M4+ architecture.

TM4C123G Development Kit Features

The TM4C123G development kit boasts a rich set of features aimed at facilitating embedded system design and prototyping:

  • MCU: Includes the Tiva C Series TM4C123G MCU, equipped with 256KB of internal Flash memory.

  • Mixed-Signal Applications: Well-suited for mixed-signal applications, featuring an on-board temperature sensor, LEDs, a CAN transceiver, and ADC connectivity for external analog inputs and CAN signals.

  • Connectivity:

    • microSD card slot
    • USB micro-AB connector
    • USB 2.0 interface
    • CAN transceiver
  • User Interface: Options for interfacing with a 96x64 color OLED display and five user navigation buttons.

  • Motion Tracking: Supports motion and position tracking using a 9-axis motion sensor.

  • Debugging: Includes a 10-pin JTAG header interface for debugging purposes.

  • Storage: Comes with a USB flash drive.
