THD, SNR to SINAD Converter
Advertisement
This page provides a converter to calculate SINAD (Signal-to-Noise and Distortion Ratio) from THD (Total Harmonic Distortion) and SNR (Signal-to-Noise Ratio) values.
EXAMPLE:
- INPUTS: SNR (dB) = 15, THD (dB) = 1
- OUTPUT: SINAD (dB) = 0.83
Total Harmonic Distortion (THD)
THD represents the root mean square (RMS) value of distortion components present at the harmonics of the input frequency. This input frequency is the frequency of the sinewave used as the input signal.
